This is an excerpt from one of the two songs the band recorded but didn't keep for the album. "Chains" is a kind of instrumental piece with weird-repetitive lyrics. JOY sometimes plays it on stage.

"Flesh" is the second song the band decided not to put on the record. The strings arrangement was written by Anja and worked really well, but Marc wasn't satisfied with the vocals. Actually, he didn't succeed in singing them... Well... Those things sometimes happen...

Empire voices : after several unsuccessful recordings made in the same room, Françoise and Marc tried the "picture window" option (on the video), but would finally record the definitive vocals one month later at Jean-Pierre Onraedt's house.
